Who We are!

Hey Girls, I’m Joanna, one of the proud owners of Soul Sisters!

My lash journey began eight years ago when I was 32. As a busy mum of three, I struggled with the demands of a 9-5 office job and knew I wanted more flexibility. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I enrolled in a beginner’s classic lash course at a local salon. It was the best decision I ever made! I became my own boss, set my own hours, and built a career that worked around my family life.

After years of hard work and many late nights perfecting my lash skills while my kids slept, I knew it was time for the next step, teaching others. I pursued my Level 3 teaching qualification, which was daunting as I never considered myself academic. But with determination, support, and plenty of revision (and maybe a few tears, lol), I passed! This achievement changed my life and opened so many doors.

Who We are!

As my business grew, I outgrew my home setup and took the leap to open a high-street salon. That’s when my beautiful little sister, Faye Faye, joined the journey. I trained her at just 16 years old, and she quickly became an essential part of the business, now my incredible business partner. Together, we’ve built Soul Sisters into what it is today, with a thriving salon, a training academy, and an amazing team of talented lash artists.
